hello baby

hey there, I'm writing another blog post. Aren't you happy?
I thought I would see how well I can do this using a dictation program so that if I am carrying a baby I can still write something.
So far it seems as though it is doing okay job.

If you listen to podcasts you might listen to a show called I should be writing, recently the host of the show was doing an interview and they had a little tip for giving your ending a little bit of Interest. What they suggested was coming up with 10 different endings to a story that your writing. I think that is some good advice because it can keep you from going with the most obvious and boring ending. It can also keep you from becoming stuck on just one ending or becoming stuck on an ending that is not as good as it should be.

So what are you think so far? Other than a few mistakes, like in the last sentence, the program is doing an okay job of understanding what I am saying.

blogging is for suckers!

So...
there's not a lot going on lately, but I am making a blog post.

The blog post is thanks to a recommendation from the voluntary life podcast about checking out the "getting things done" book and system. The central benefit of the system is getting things out of your head so that you can concentrate on doing the thing you're doing.
I've been going through the first parts of implementing the system and it seems that so far it has been beneficial. So I'd totally recommend it.

In other news I'm starting on a novel. it is not a novel that I know anything about yet, I'm just saying that I'm starting on a novel because I'd like to just throw that out there as something that is "happening"

For any fans of Justin Bieber's shoes... Well I totally left that story hanging, but at some point I will figure out how it ends and then write the rest of the story. Justin may even make an appearance.

On a slightly related topic, why isn't there an exclusive unofficial Biebography that gives completely ridiculous counter-factual details of his life? That would be a remarkably fun and or whimsical book... I guess Abraham Lincoln would be better since he is less likely to sue you if you include details of that one episode of clubbing baby seals. Also faux-biographies of Lincoln are in vogue right now (or last year, I can't keep track).

Are faux-biographies of Ben Franklin cool now or what? I mean not that you'd need to spice up a Ben Franklin bio. I mean he's a man that got around; ladies loved cool Ben F.
